Art Shows & Exhibitions

Below are some of the art shows and exhibitions I have planned for the summer and fall 2016:

On August 1, 2016 (Civic Day weekend), I will be joining over 50 Artists in Bronte Creek Memorial Park in Oakville, to sell my artwork. After taking a three year break from doing this show, I am exhibiting completely new artwork, a combination of natural landscapes and urban scenes.  This is a great venue for Artists to exhibit and sell their work; so I’m really looking forward to it!

SOLO SHOW, Pheasant Run Golf Club

From August to November 2016, I will be exhibiting 20 of my landscape and urban paintings in my first ever solo show at a golf course. This is no ordinary golf course. The Pheasant Run Golf Club is Audubon Certified, meaning that they are committed to environmental conservation and sustainability. I am really excited to be exhibiting paintings that explore environmental themes, such as habitat loss and species extinction; especially in such a rustic interior made of wood.

This is one of Ontario’s oldest running and most successful outdoor art shows. On August 13 and 14, I will be joining over 50 of Ontario’s finest artists in a two day arts smorgasbord! This is truly an art celebration not to miss – one that features professional, high quality artists in a beautiful natural park. If you’ve never been to Buckhorn, Ontario (close to Peterborough) than you should definitely make the 1.5 hour journey from Toronto to check out and purchase some artwork, talk with some great professional artists, make new friends, grab some amazing food, and check out the local natural scenery; as well as the quaint town of Buckhorn!

In my second solo art show of 2016, I am building upon my earlier art exhibition at The Kingston Social, and showing a few new paintings of urban subjects and cityscapes. The show engages people and challenges them to think about their interactions with the back alleyways and ‘hidden’ spaces of Cities.
